Kelly's Sweet Rewards was created in October of 2006, by Kelly Lindquist, owner/cake designer. Previously a pastry chef for a local catering business when her hobby of creating specialty cakes was uncovered by a fun bride and groom. The couple, having a halloween wedding, wanted the cake to be a memorable part of the fun. Her 4 foot Mummy Cake made its appearance and word traveled like wild fire.
Kelly is a Connecticut native who has spent over 10 years as a social worker working with children with severe behavioral difficulties. Kelly truly loved her work with children but was eager to use her artistic talent and her pastry skills. Cumulatively these two skills make a great recipe for her fun loving business of creative cake designs.
